TV100
TV100 isn't just a TV station — it's a full-scale news organization deeply rooted in the city. At DontMatter, we handled the design and development of the new portal, aiming to bring Thessaloniki's television and radio directly to every user's screen, wherever they are.
The major challenge was unifying the media formats. We designed an interface that seamlessly hosts TV100's television alongside the group's two radio stations, FM100 and FM100.6. Users can now watch the channel's live program, listen to the radio, and stay up to date with the news all at once, within a clean, modern environment. The information architecture prioritizes news flow and the multimedia experience, ensuring the content always stays front and center.
On the technical side, we focused on the high demands of live streaming and continuous content flow. We built a platform that handles a massive volume of data, videos, and audio files without sacrificing loading speed. The experience is seamless across every device, letting citizens access the live program or the show archive in just a few clicks. The code's stability guarantees the site stays "on air" even during periods of very high traffic.
The new tv100.gr is a modern news hub built for the demands of the digital age. We managed to create a digital destination that honors the history of local media, while delivering a fresh, functional experience that puts the pulse of the city front and center.
The project's success was built on fully converging the media formats. We managed to "marry" image with sound, creating a shared digital identity for the group's television and radio stations. This consistency in information and design lets TV100 function as a single, multi-channel hub, carrying the pulse of the city from every medium into the same, modern platform.
